What's More Exciting than our Privacy Policy?

Overarching principle

100Brix is committed to acting responsibly with regard to data protection and does not knowingly adopt any unfair or unethical practices. We are always available to address any queries.

Relevant legislation

We will adhere to the relevant legislation – namely the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, and any other appropriate legislation in force at the time. Our ICO registration number is ZC003905.

Introduction

When we collect data that you supply to us, the process that we follow will depend on the service you are enquiring about.

For example:

  • Services to Corporate organisations (whether you are a potential, or future corporate client), or
  • Becoming a coach, or managing your existing coaching training, accreditation or other similar activity with us

Regardless of the process, we will always process this data in line with all appropriate legal and ethical practices.

We are a small, ethical company who want to be transparent in what we do. Like any business, we may not always get it right, so if you have any concerns about how we store and/or use your data, please get in contact with us. If we’ve got something wrong, we’ll do what we can to put it right.

Controller of data

100Brix acts as a data controller in relation to this policy, and any third parties which handle data on our behalf (for example our CRM and IT systems) act as data processor.

Basis for Processing: Legitimate Interest

When we process your data as the result of you making an enquiry, we will process it using the legal basis of legitimate interest. This is because you have a legitimate reason for contacting us and we have a similar reason for responding. This will involve us storing the data you provide to us (which may include ‘invisible’ data including your IP address) and the content of our ongoing conversations.

The above applies to data provided by you through this website, by email, phonecall or text messaging. It also applies to data we collect from exhibitions, events and referrals. We need to hold this data to enable us to provide a service to the data subject.

Where we process your data under the legal basis of legitimate interest, we will do so under the prevailing legislation. You have all the rights available to you under that legislation, which include deletion, access, rectification, portability and restriction.

Basis for Processing: Marketing consent

If, at any point, you choose to opt-in to marketing communication (either as a standalone request, or while submitting an enquiry), we will process that opt-in as a separate, additional request under the legal basis of consent.

You may withdraw this consent at any time by either clicking the link in the communication or emailing us at hello@100brix.com

Please note that if we have another simultaneous reason for processing your data (for example, legitimate interest or a contractual basis) then we will continue to do so under those bases unless you request otherwise. Under certain circumstances, we may still need to process your data after such a request due to legal or contractual reasons.

Basis for Processing: Contractual

If you enter into a contractual relationship with us (for example providing training to your company or you becoming an accredited coach, licensee or franchisee) , we will process your data on a ‘contractual basis’.

This will include us retaining and processing your data during the duration of the contract and for a period thereafter. Your rights to deletion of your data may be affected by this, as we will need it for the execution of the contract or for other reasons including those related to tax, insurance or legislation. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Other information

This policy applies to data that you submit to us electronically, but we may also collect data about individuals from exhibitions or events that we attend. This will be done under the terms agreed between the individual and the organisers of the event, and – where we physically collect this data by, for example, scanning a badge with your permission, we will display a data notice prominently where possible. If this is not possible, we will process that data fairly by applying the same values as we do in this policy.

We are part of a larger group of companies, but these are all small and family owned. We are not a large enterprise which processes large quantities of data. As these companies have grown, various resources have inevitably become shared between them, so you may get a reply that comes from a domain different to 100brix. These include teabreaktraining.com, toprightthinking.com, profitablyengaged.com, and the52project.com.

As of late 2025, we are looking to amalgamate these into a more concise ‘digital footprint’ and out group data privacy notices will be amended to reflect that. In the meantime, if you have any questions about this element of our data policy, please email us at hello@100brix.com

We will not sell your data to any third party.

Subject access requests can be made by emailing hello@100brix.com
